Sister and mother consumed poison after marriage for the love of their son
A very painful case has come to light in Bijnor, Uttar Pradesh, where when the son of the family got married, his mother and sister went to the fields and consumed poison. The bodies of both were found in the sugarcane field. Police sent the bodies of the mother and sister for an autopsy. Family members have alleged that both took this step out of anger over their daughter’s marriage. Family members feel bad and cry. The police are currently investigating the case.
This whole matter is from Shahzadpur village in Mandawar area of the district. A young man named Gaurav, who lives there, got married at the court on November 13. Angered by this, Gaurav’s mother and sister Swati committed suicide by consuming poison. Gaurav’s family had engaged Gaurav a few days ago. Gaurav was in love with his elder brother’s sister-in-law and married her in court on November 13. Due to this, angry, Gaurav’s mother and younger sister Swati went to their sugarcane field at 2 pm and committed suicide by consuming sulfas.

Gaurav’s father Rampal said that the girl to whom everyone in the house had engaged Gaurav was a close friend of Swati. Everyone in the house was very happy and it was decided to get married next December. Suddenly, Gaurav refused to get married. Everyone celebrated her, but when she married her brother’s sister-in-law at court on November 13, her mother and sister Swati were deeply shocked at home. He was afraid of the taunts from the society that despite getting engaged, Gaurav married another girl. What answer will you give to the people? Worried about this and fearing public shame, they left home under the pretext of working on the farm and bringing fodder for the animals and both committed suicide by consuming sulfas in the sugarcane field.
The police are engaged in the investigation
After a long time without returning home, when Rampal went to the field to call them both, he found them lying in the cane field. There was also a bottle of sulfaaz and a bottle of water nearby. On receiving the information, Mandawar police reached the spot, took the bodies of both into their custody and sent them for autopsy. Regarding this painful incident, Dr. Sanjeev Bajpai of Bijnor town SP said that during interrogation, family members and villagers said that both of them committed suicide due to anger over Gaurav’s judicial marriage. Based on the post-mortem report, the police will investigate other aspects as well.
