A third grade teacher suffered severe burns when the gas tank of his bicycle caught fire in Jaipur, Rajasthan. The police gave this information on Thursday. According to the police, the fire broke out in the motorcycle’s gas tank when the teacher lit a cigarette. Police said the incident took place behind the drama department of Rajasthan University, where Hrithik Malhotra, 22, a resident of Bassi town near Jaipur, had stopped to light a cigarette.
The motorcycle’s gas tank did not have a cap.
Gandhi Nagar police station house officer Rajkumar said the victim lives in the university’s Aravali hostel. The victim told police that the motorcycle’s gas tank did not have a cap and that when he lit a cigarette, the gas tank caught fire and he burned.
Master who fights between life and death
Hrithik, a resident of the Barwa village of Bassi, was recently selected as a third grade teacher and was soon going to work in the Physical Education Department. Malhotra suffered severe burns and is being treated at Sawai Man Singh (SMS) hospital. Right now he is torn between life and death in the hospital.
