two groups fighting each other
Let us tell you that the meeting would be held at the Prayagraj Fair Authority office. The authority had summoned both factions of the Akhara Parishad for the meeting. The uproar began even before the meeting formally began. Some saints also suffered minor injuries in this fighting incident. According to information received, Akhara Parishad is divided into two groups following the death of former president Narendra Giri.
In this matter, Akhara Parishad president Ravindra Puri is reported to have said that there is a dispute over land allocation and there was an uproar by some saints. Nirmohi Akhara president Rajendra Das said that whenever a fair is held, Akhara officials are called. But this has happened two or three times at the Kumbh Mela: instead of officials being forced to sit, others like Juna Akhara are made to sit. Juna Akharas does not have a good record, his only job is to fight and dispute. When we couldn’t find a place to sit there, we said that Prem Giri had attacked Juna Akhara.
