The director of a private hospital in Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh, has been accused of raping a 22-year-old nurse. It is suspected that the nurse was given toxic substances to drink before the rape. When she lost consciousness, she was raped. Currently, the police have registered an FIR after receiving the complaint and have also arrested the accused.
According to the news agency, Kalyanpur Deputy Commissioner of Police (ACP) Abhishek Pandey said that the victim was working as a nurse in a private hospital in the area for the past few months. Last Sunday afternoon he had attended a party given by the hospital director. The accused director had asked the nurse to stay in the hospital at night on the pretext of performing official work (night duty).
It is alleged that around midnight the principal called the nurse to his room, pushed her inside and closed the door. At night they took the nurse hostage and raped her. Not only this, he also threatened to kill me if I told anyone about the incident.
Currently, Kanpur police arrested the accused hospital director. He was presented in court yesterday. Now the victim will be medically examined and will be presented in court to take his statement before the magistrate.
According to the complaint filed by the victim, she is 22 years old. There is a nurse in the defendant’s nursing home. Late at night, the hospital director detained him on the pretext of a party. After this, after the people left, they found him alone and took him to the room. Then, after closing the door, he raped her.
