speak like humans
To give scammers an idea, O2, a UK telecom company, launched AI Grandma, which can talk like humans. This AI grandmother named Daisy can talk to scammers for a long time and tell them different stories. This AI grandmother from the telecom company will pick up the scammers’ phone and tell them false and imaginary stories about her family. This AI granny’s main job is to waste scammers’ time and save people from fraud.
According to the report, this AI grandmother, Daisy, is part of O2 Telecom Company’s “Swerve the Scammers” campaign. Telecom operators have prepared it to stop fake calls. AI Grandma is not like a common chatbot, but it has more intelligence than them. Like humans, first listen, then think and understand. After this she answers the call. Because of this type of response given by the AI, scammers think they are talking to a human being.
It will waste scammers’ time
To create this AI granny, O2 enlisted the help of Jim Browning, a famous scammer on YouTube, who taught Daisy several tricks for dealing with scammers. According to a research report, 7 in 10 people in Britain want revenge on scammers. They also don’t want to waste time dealing with fake calls and scammers. This AI granny will help people a lot in this matter.
