People adopt many methods to save money, but after knowing what a Chinese influencer did on social media, people were forced to think. This girl named Kong Yufeng says that to save money she eats pig fodder. It says its price is only 3 yuan (Rs 35), which is not only much cheaper than eating outside but is also healthy. However, the girl’s strange revelations have sparked a new debate on the Internet.
This girl, known as ‘King Kong Liuke’ on social media, has over 28 lakh followers on the Chinese version of TikTok, ‘Douyin’. On October 30, Kong shared a video in which he shared that he spends very little and has adopted a unique method to save money.
Kong also said he eats pig feed instead of takeout. He said he spent only 100 yuan (about Rs 1,200) on a bag of pig feed, which is quite economical. He said its fragrance seemed like milk porridge to him.
In the video, Kong also claimed that the pig feed contained ingredients such as peanuts, soybeans, sesame, corn and vitamins, which were high in protein, low in fat and completely natural. After this, followers were asked to say whether it was healthier than takeaway or not.
The influencer said that he drank pig fodder mixed with hot water, which had a rather salty and acidic taste. In addition, he announced that during the next week he will depend on pig feed to see if it is possible to stay healthy based solely on feed and water.
Not only this, Influencer Kong also called on her followers not to follow this diet plan unless they are extremely poor. This video of Kong went viral in no time and was viewed by more than 63 lakh people on Weibo. However, most people ridiculed her words and said that she is not looking for an idea to save money but to make money by doing ridiculous things. One user wrote: If it was so plastic, why would it be made for pigs? Another wrote that these influencers should be banned, because it is because of them that children are spoiled and ignorantly copy their words, which then has serious consequences.
