The United States has its new National Security Advisor (NSA). The newly elected president of the country, Donald Trump, has entrusted this responsibility to member of the House of Representatives, Michael Waltz. Waltz has been an officer in the Army National Guard. He is considered a supporter of India and a staunch critic of China.
Waltz has been a three-time Republican Party congressman. Comes from east-central Florida. Michael Waltz has been a strong supporter of Trump. He is considered to have a tough stance towards China. Waltz had blamed China for Covid-19. He also accused China of oppressing Uyghur Muslims. For this reason, he had called on the United States to boycott the 2022 Winter Olympics in Beijing.
