BSNL has achieved a major milestone by providing ultra-fast 4G connectivity to millions of users. The company has installed 50,000 new 4G mobile towers across the country, of which 41,000 towers are already operational. Recently, the company shared this information through its official handle , Jio or Vodafone Idea are not present there.

Airtel, Jio, Voda surprised!

Talking about mobile network connectivity in India, you will get mobile signals in about 95 percent of the places. BSNL has provided 4G connectivity to those remote areas. The government telco has set a target of installing 1 lakh 4G mobile towers by June next year. After the commercial launch of Bharat Sanchar Nigam’s 4G service, tension between private companies Airtel, Jio and Vodafone-Idea will increase the most.

Recently, private telecom companies had made it more expensive to recharge their mobiles, following which BSNL has added 55 lakh new mobile users in the last two months. At the same time, thousands of thousands of private company users have decreased. Jio has suffered the biggest loss, which has lost around 4 million i.e. 40 lakh users. However, the country’s largest telecommunications company is hopeful that its users will return to the network.

4G connectivity began to improve

Along with the 4G service, BSNL is also gearing up to launch 5G. The government telecom company is installing 4G/5G mobile towers based on indigenous technology. After installation of 50 thousand new 4G mobile towers, BSNL users will get better connectivity than before. The company has also decided not to make charging plans more expensive in the near future. During the India Mobile Congress held last month, the company said the emphasis would be on increasing users rather than making plans more expensive.
