The Congress launched a scathing attack on Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath over the death of 10 newborn children in a hospital in Jhansi, Uttar Pradesh. The Congress said that if you don’t have a child, how do you know the pain of losing one?

During the press conference in Nagpur on the Jhansi incident, Congress national general secretary and Rajya Sabha MP Randeep Surjewala cornered Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath over the Jhansi incident.

Surjewala said: ’10 newborn children died. Words cannot express the tears and feelings of a mother who has lost her son. This is not an accident, it is an institutional murder.

He further said, they talk about dividing and dividing, Yogi Adityanath did not get married, this is his personal decision, he retired, this is also a personal decision, but if he had had children, he would have known what the pain of losing a child is, they would understand it.

Let us tell you that due to fire at Rani Lakshmibai Medical College, Jhansi on Friday night, 10 children present in the NICU ward died while the condition of 17 is critical. After the incident there were screams and screams. Parents were seen crying and nursing staff were seen running here and there. Right now there are many people who have not known if their child is alive or not.

The accident occurred on Friday night.

Regarding this incident, Chief Medical Superintendent (CMS) Sachin Mahore said that a total of 54 newborns were admitted to the NICU. The fire occurred due to a short circuit in the oxygen concentrator between 10:30 p.m. and 10:45 p.m. The fire spread quickly, causing extensive damage to the units inside and several children died from burns.

CM Yogi expressed regret

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath termed the incident tragic and ordered an inquiry. Meanwhile, Deputy CM Brajesh Pathak said a high-level inquiry will be conducted. Following the joint report of the DGME, Fire and Electricity Department, strict action will be taken against the culprits.
