Ambala News: Traffic police issued challans for 15 heavy vehicles.

Ambala News | Ambalá. On 25 April 2022, by the Superintendent of Police, Ambala, to ensure road safety, ensure smooth movement of vehicles, determine the driving lane (left lane) for heavy vehicles and speed restricted vehicles (limit of fixed speed) and driving in the left lane A meeting of police/employees was called to raise awareness among drivers and take necessary measures.

Police officers and employees present at the seminar were instructed to strictly enforce traffic rules to ensure road safety. Today, 28 November 2024, challans have been issued for 15 heavy vehicles and so far challans have been issued for 37,134 heavy vehicles in the last 858 days. This campaign will continue as well.

Ambala Superintendent of Police, while appealing to the drivers, said that to ensure road safety and smooth movement of vehicles, it is mandatory for us to follow the speed limit and left lane prescribed in Part 5 of Section 4 of the Motor Vehicles Act, 2017. Road accidents can be reduced.
