Tremendous uproar in the Jammu and Kashmir Assembly
Srinagar: There has been a huge uproar in the Assembly regarding Article 370. PDP demanded approval of the proposal for withdrawal of Article 370. In fact, PDP MLA Waheed Para, representing Pulwama, moved a resolution in the first session underlining the important role of the UT Assembly of Jammu and Kashmir, similar to the Constituent Assembly, and called for restoration of the special status of Jammu. and Kashmir. AIP MLA Sheikh Khurshid supported PDP MLA Wahid Para in the proposal.
The BJP protested
PDP member Waheed Para requested the President to accept the resolution tabled on abrogation of Article 370, as the BJP protested in the Jammu and Kashmir Assembly. The spokesperson says he will make a decision after reading the proposal. BJP says the comments should be deleted and the proposal should be rejected.
There was a lot of uproar in the Assembly after PDP MLA Wahid Para’s request to accept motion 370. The speaker said that the proposal had not reached me, once it comes I will investigate and take a decision.
