‘Trump Ramaswamy and Musk team can become a big threat,’ China political advisor expresses concern: Musk Ramaswamy team will be the biggest threat to Beijing during Donald Trump’s administration, Chinese advisor warns ntc

China’s political advisor Zheng Yongnian has made a big statement about newly elected US President Donald Trump’s new team. He said Trump’s team of Elon Musk and Indian-origin businessman Vivek Ramaswami could be the biggest threat to China. He said Trump’s team will work to make the American government effective in a new way, so China will have to compete with the American political system.

Zheng, dean of the School of Public Policy at the Chinese University of Hong Kong, said: “A more effective US political system will put enormous pressure on China’s current system. This pressure will not only fall on China but also on other countries such as Europe.

We tell you that Trump has nominated Musk and Ramaswamy to head a new department, DOGE. Both have already planned to abolish many rules and reduce the number of government employees.

What did China’s policymaker say?

Zheng said: ‘The biggest pressure on China may come from US changes. If Trump is successful in his efforts to reform his government, the United States will develop new, more competitive systems. Let us tell you that Trump can take power starting January 20.

Trump had been taking tough measures against China during his first term. It is also expected to implement strict measures against Beijing on global fronts such as Taiwan and the South China Sea. China considers Taiwan part of its territory and claims most of the South China Sea.

Meanwhile, China announced new policies for its export sector on Thursday. Zheng said that to counter the United States’ internal changes, China will have to open its policies even further. He said Trump could damage bilateral relations through trade tariffs.

Zheng said the tariffs imposed on China under Trump’s “America First” policy will not only cause further damage to bilateral relations, but also weaken the global trading system.
