Trump supports Sanatan and loves India very much: Baba Ramdev

Swami Ramdev

Donald Trump’s return to the presidency has increased unrest in some countries, while others express happiness. India has welcomed Trump’s return to power. Yoga guru Baba Ramdev, while congratulating Trump on his election victory, said that Trump loves India very much and supports Sanatan Dharma. Praising Trump’s “America First” policy, he said this ideology completely coincides with India’s ideology based on nationalism. Ramdev said Trump’s victory marked the beginning of a new era in India-US relations.

While speaking to the media, Ramdev said that nationalism is paramount for Trump. Just as we prioritize nationalism in India, America also comes first in Trump’s ideology. Ramdev further said that only he who puts his country first progresses and takes his place in history. Congratulating Trump on his return, he called it a victory for his “America First” ideology.

Both countries will strengthen mutual relations-Ramdev

Ramdev said Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi also congratulated Trump on his victory. Noting the positive progress in India-US relations during Trump’s first term, he recalled the Howdy Modi event in Houston in September 2019 and the Namaste Trump event in Ahmedabad in February. He expressed confidence that in the future both countries will work together for global peace and stability. Hailing the two countries’ partnership in global trade, Ramdev said India and the United States are committed to strengthening bilateral relations in the future in technology, defence, energy, space and other fields.

Trump has made history

This time Trump has received more than the 270 electoral votes necessary to become president of the United States. This is only the second example of a president serving two non-consecutive terms in the White House. This has happened for the first time in the last 100 years. Previously, Grover Cleveland had held the presidency for two similar non-consecutive terms in 1884 and 1892. Trump previously served as president of the United States from 2016 to 2020.
