Two people died after stone-pelting and arson in Sambhal, police confirmed

Two people were killed in a dangerous rampage during a poll at Jama Masjid, Sambhal. Confirming the incident, the SP reported that on Saturday morning, when a team had arrived to conduct reconnaissance on court orders, the local community pelted heavy stones. The police had to fire tear gas to control the situation. During the rampage, the protesters also resorted to arson, in which many police officers, including the SP, were injured and left.
