Shiv Sena (UBT) chief Uddhav Thackeray has planned to directly challenge CM Eknath Shinde by making electoral noise from Ratnagiri district of the Konkan region. Uddhav Thackeray will campaign on November 8 in Buldhana and Mehkar in Vidarbha, where MLAs Sanjay Gaikwad and Sanjay Raimulkar are from. Both the MLAs had hoisted the flag of rebellion along with Shinde in 2022. After this, the Uddhav group candidate will campaign for Asaram Borade in Partur of Parbhani district.
