The National Testing Agency has released the notification for the December session exam of UGC NET 2024. With the release of the notification, the application process has also started. Candidates can register to appear for the exam by visiting the official website ugcnet.nta.ac.in before 12 midnight on December 10, 2024. Please let us know when the exam will be conducted.
Candidates can register on or before the last date prescribed as per the notification issued. Candidates should note that only applications made as per the rules will be valid. When applying, documents should be uploaded only in the format specified in the notification. The notification for the exam was released on November 19.
UGC NET December 2024 Eligibility Criteria: Who can apply?
To appear in the UGC NET exam, a candidate must have a master’s degree from any recognized university. It is mandatory for general category applicants to pass with 55 percent marks and for reserved category applicants with 50 percent marks. There is no maximum age limit to take the exam.
UGC NET 2024 December Application Fee: How much is the application fee?
For the December session exam of UGC NET 2024, the general category will have to pay Rs 1150 and OBC candidates will have to pay Rs 600 as application fee. While the application fee for SC/ST/Divyang/Third Gender is Rs 325. Application fees can be deposited in online mode.

UGC NET December Exam Date 2024: When will the exam be held?
According to the schedule released by the National Testing Agency, the exam will be held between January 1, 2025 and January 19, 2025. The exam city voucher will be issued first and then the admit card will be issued. On this occasion the exam will be carried out on a total of 84 subjects.
