Which required that anyone who came to vote in Delhi on polling day wearing a burqa or mask should only be allowed to vote after thorough investigation.

At the same time, the now president of the Samajwadi Party, UP, Shyam Lal Pal, has written a letter to the Election Commission. They have raised the demand that a written order be issued to the returning officer/district magistrate, general observer and police officials that no police officer will check the voter ID of any voter during the voting on November 20, 2024. The results will be declared on November 23.
