Taking cognizance of complaints raised by SP on social media about some communities being prevented from voting during the by-elections, Chief Election Commissioner Rajiv Kumar has directed the Chief Electoral Officer of Uttar Pradesh and all election officials of district and electoral officials that guarantee equity. and fluid voting. He gave strict instructions to ensure the voting process.
The officials were asked to immediately take cognizance of all complaints and take immediate action and also inform the complainant by tagging him through social media. They were warned that no eligible voter should be prevented from voting and that any type of discriminatory attitude would not be tolerated. Officials said election officials have been told that if anyone is found guilty after receiving the complaint, strict action should be taken against him.
