UP over election result: Political unrest intensifies over UP by-election results, opposition alleges manipulation
The Uttar Pradesh BJP got the big victory it needed in the by-elections. Just a few months after the Lok Sabha elections, the BJP has signaled its way out of frustration by winning 7 out of 9 by-elections. The special thing is that out of them, 4 seats (Karhal, Kundarki, Kathari, Sisamau) were considered very difficult and the BJP won them after decades. Akhilesh Yadav accused the BJP of rigging the elections.
