As soon as the fifth day session of the Jammu and Kashmir Assembly began, an uproar began over the issue of Article 370. Engineer Rashid’s brother and Awami Ittehad Party MLA Khurshid Ahmed Sheikh was removed from the House by marshals. In the House, the BJP is continuously opposing the resolution brought against Article 370. After the uproar that started today, slogans were raised against the PDP. As soon as the session began, BJP MLAs stood up and started protesting, raising slogans against the PDP and the president.
There was an uproar in the Assembly between the party and opposition MPs demanding the restoration of Article 370. This uproar in the House is caused by two proposals related to the restoration of Article 370.
‘We don’t talk in the air…’
According to the agency, Chief Minister Omar Abdullah said about the entire controversy: “We do not accept what happened on August 5, 2019. It was not done after discussing it with us. Some people said that we had forgotten about that issue.” . “We are not people who cheat, the difference is that we know how to carry things through the assembly.”
He further said that we wanted such a voice to come from the Assembly that the Central Government would be forced to talk to us. We raised that voice and got the proposal approved. We will make it. We do not make promises for elections. We don’t talk on air, we keep the promises we make.
