Manoj Bajpayee
In Uttarakhand, the issue of property registration in the name of Bollywood actor Manoj Bajpayee has started gaining momentum. It is alleged that during the search the rules were circumvented under the influence of a state leader. For this registration, the Treasury Department not only submitted all the reports in just two days, but also completed the necessary paperwork and registered the land in the afternoon. The matter is from the year 2021 in Kapkot village of Lamgada development block of Almora. At that time, 15 Nali lands were registered in the name of Manoj Bajpayee.
Film actor Manoj Bajpayee was said to have bought this land to develop a meditation and yoga centre. Seeing the matter gaining momentum, the government ordered an investigation. According to official sources, after irregularities in the case came to light, preparations are being made to confiscate this plot. Now a senior officer is also under the scope of investigation into this irregularity. According to Almora DM Alok Kumar Pandey, a case of irregularities in the buying and selling of this plot has come to light.
DM sent report to the government
This is being investigated. Action will be taken in this matter only after the investigation report is published. We tell you that this topic was raised with great enthusiasm recently. The Government had subsequently requested a report from the DM of Almora. The DM is said to have sent his report to the government. Speaking to the media, he said that violation of the rules will not be tolerated under any circumstances. In this case too, if any irregularities are confirmed, an appropriate decision will be made to confiscate the land. He said that 23 other similar cases are also being investigated.
Checking the registration of outsiders
Let us tell you that many people from outside the state have bought land in Uttarakhand. After cases of irregularities in the purchase and sale of land came to light, the administration has started taking strict action. According to DM Alok Kumar Pandey, there is no ban on outsiders buying land, but anyone who has bought land in violation of norms is being investigated. Recently, a Mumbai businessman’s land was confiscated in Almora itself. The district administration canceled the deed of this 108 drain land and also auctioned it. Similar actions are also being carried out in many other districts.
