Road accident in Odisha, (Aaj Samaj), Bhubaneswar: Fog has started turning deadly in Odisha. The Tata Magic loaded with passengers collided with a trailer parked on the side of the road due to dense fog and 6 people died and 5 others were seriously injured. The accident took place today between 2:00 and 2:30 am on MCL-Toparia road near Gaiknapali area under Hemgiri police station in Sundargarh district.

Five people died instantly
According to police, the collision was so serious that five people, including the driver, died instantly and one died later. The injured have been taken to Hemgiri Medical Hospital. According to sources, due to dense fog, the driver could not see the parked trailer, leading to a horrific collision. The deceased have been identified as residents of Kandadhuda and Samarapinda areas under Hemagiri police limits. After the accident, tension spread in the area and villagers blocked the road and demanded compensation for the victims.
