With the arrival of winter season in North India, many trains are running late. Fog is also the cause of delay in the movement of trains. The Vande Bharat Express from Bhopal to Delhi was delayed for 11 hours. The reason for the train delay was said to be a technical fault. The Vande Bharat Express train bound for Hazrat Nizamuddin in Delhi departed from Bhopal’s Rani Kamalapati railway station on Monday with a delay of about 11 hours due to a technical problem.
Passengers were not informed about the train delay.
Officials said the train normally leaves Rani Kamalapati station at 5.40 am, but it left for its destination on Monday night. Earlier, angry passengers protested on the railway tracks and alleged that they had not been informed about the delay in train operation.
These trains were canceled due to delay.
Jabalpur-based West Central Railway (WCR) public relations director Harshit Srivastava said that due to delay, the Vande Bharat Express (20172) coming from Hazrat Nizamuddin to Rani Kamlapati station was canceled on Monday due to the night. Similarly, the Vande Bharat Express (20171) from Rani Kamlapati to Nizamuddin will remain canceled on Tuesday.
Vande Bharat left 11 hours late
West Central Railway Acting Public Relations Officer (Bhopal Division) Naval Aggarwal said the semi-high-speed train left for its destination in the afternoon instead of the scheduled time in the morning. Although Aggarwal said he did not know the exact departure time, witnesses said the train left for Hazrat Nizamuddin railway station at 4:30 pm, about 11 hours late. He said the train was delayed due to technical reasons.
Late train information provided through the app
He said passengers were informed about the delay through various means, including train-related apps. Aggarwal said many passengers boarded the Nizamuddin-bound Vande Bharat Express (20171). The acting PRO insisted that the Railways did not cancel Monday’s train keeping in mind the interest of passengers. Aggarwal said that the Rani Kamlapati (formerly Habibganj) station railway yard is well equipped and experienced to carry out repair and maintenance work of new age Vande Bharat trains.
Fight at Shatabdi Express

Spring defect in the C11 coach
Eyewitnesses said that after this a group of angry passengers sat on the tracks with bags to protest. Sources said that around 10.20 pm on Sunday night, the Vande Bharat Express (20172) returning from Hazrat Nizamuddin to Rani Kamalapati station suffered a technical fault and the spring of the C11 coach was damaged. He said the train was taken to the depot for repair, but the fault could not be rectified in time, causing a delay in the train’s departure early in the morning.
