Security guard injured by Kohli’s shot
In the second session of the day, Kohli played many beautiful shots as soon as he arrived. In the 101st over, he played a brilliant top cut on Mitchell Starc’s short ball outside off stump, which fell on the boundary cushion towards third man. After hitting the cushion, the ball bounced and hit the head of the security guard sitting outside the boundary. As soon as he hit the ball, Gordon held his head.
After this accident on the boundary, Kohli seemed worried about the security guard, so some Australian players, who were playing on the boundary at that time, came to inspect the guard’s injury. A doctor also immediately arrived there and made sure whether the guard was fine or not.
