On the night of Chhoti Diwali in Hardoi district of Uttar Pradesh, the police were caught off guard when a theft complaint was received on Dial 112. When the Dial 112 team reached the spot, they were shocked to know the truth. Because during interrogation it was revealed that a person under the influence of alcohol had called the police, even after 250 to 300 grams of potatoes were missing.
When the police asked the man who took the potatoes, the answer they got was that that is what needs to be investigated. That’s why I called you. Currently, the video of this incident that occurred on Wednesday night is going viral on social media. However, police officers avoid saying anything about it.
Actually, Vijay Verma (son of Ram Asare Verma), a resident of Manna Purva of Kotwali town, called 112 at night and said that there had been a robbery at his house. As soon as the information was received, the police reached the spot, called Vijay and questioned him. About which Vijay said that he had peeled his potatoes and kept them, he thought he would cook them after eating them, but when he returned, he found the potatoes missing.
When the Dial 112 police team asked him how many potatoes were there? Then Vijay Verma said that around 250 grams, 300 grams of potatoes were stolen. Hearing Vijay’s words, the policemen hit their heads and recorded a video. The cops thought there might have been some major robbery incident, but in reality it turned out to be something else.
In the video you can see how the police asked Vijay if he had consumed alcohol. Then he says: Yes, we work hard, we drink a liter of liquor at night, but the question is not about the liquor, but about the potatoes, find it. That’s why I called the police.
