Many people name their children after their favorite player, actor or politician. Like former Indian captain and batting great, Sunil Gavaskar had named his son after West Indies legend Rohan Kanhai. A video has emerged of one such fan, who named not one, two or three, but six dogs after England cricketers.
On the podcast of former England women’s cricket team bowler Alex Hartley and her fast bowling partner Kate Cross, a fan revealed the names of their dogs. In the episode starring these two English cricketers, the host of ‘No Balls: The Cricket Podcast’, a fan introduced him to his six little dogs and also told him the names of each one. This video has been posted from the podcast’s social media accounts, showing that a fan called Jo has named her 6 small dogs after players on the England men’s and women’s cricket team.

In addition to these, these lovely dogs have also been given the names of women’s team fast bowler Lauren Bell, spinner Sarah Glenn and batsman Danny Wyatt-Hodge. The inaugural pair of the England men’s Test team also have a place in this special family. One of these dogs has been named Jack Crowley and the other has been named Ben Duckett. Sundar also gave a funny name.
By the way, the young all-rounder of the Indian team Washington Sundar also gave his dog a special name, which is related to cricket. Four years ago, Team India won the Gabba Test on the tour of Australia, so Team India also won the series.
