BJP leader Vinod Tawde has clarified allegations of cash distribution ahead of the Maharashtra elections. On these allegations of money distribution, Tawde said that it is a conspiracy against him and the Election Commission should investigate it impartially.
Tawde said he had gone to meet the workers. I didn’t do anything wrong. This is a conspiracy of Mahavikas Aghadi workers. The police and electoral commission should investigate this.
He said this is a conspiracy to defame me and my party. CCTV footage must be taken out and investigated. Tawde said he had gone there to work on stand management. He had come to the meeting to explain to his workers how EVM machines are sealed after voting. Meanwhile, our opposition party workers felt that money was being distributed.
He said that I have been in the party for 40 years. Everyone knows the truth, but still the Election Commission and the police should investigate this matter. There is CCTV footage in the hotel. If there is an investigation, everything will be clear.
Let us tell you that BJP national general secretary Vinod Tawde has faced serious allegations of money distribution. Bahujan Vikas Aghadi workers allege that Tawde had come with Rs 5 million to distribute at a hotel in Mumbai.

Amid this ruckus, Bahujan Vikas Aghadi chief Hitendra Thakur arrived at the hotel. His son Kshitij Thakur was also with him. Hitendra alleges that Vinod Tawde had come here with Rs 5 million. Two diaries have been recovered from them. Let us tell you that both Hitendra and his son are MLAs from Vasai and Nalasopara. Kshitij is contesting again from the Nalasopara seat.

BJP IT cell chief Amit Malviya’s statement also came about this incident. He has said that if the opposition has any such proof, then they should approach the Election Commission. Malviya has termed this incident as a conspiracy. He said: ‘The leaders deal with the management of their positions 24 hours before the elections. Losing leaders cause that drama, which is currently happening in Nalasopara. He said that a meeting of our organization was being held in that hotel.
Let us tell you that voting will be held on Wednesday in 288 assembly seats of Maharashtra. Talking about Maharashtra, there is a BJP-led Mahayuti coalition government, which includes the BJP, Shiv Sena (Shinde faction) and the NCP (Ajit Pawar faction). In these elections too, the Mahayuti alliance is contesting against the Mahavikas Aghadi Congress alliance, Shiv Shiv Sena (Uddhav Thackeray’s faction) and the NCP (Sharad Pawar’s faction).
