Now the post mortem report is out after the murder of 6 members of the same family in Jiribam district of Manipur. Many surprising revelations have been made in this report. On November 17, three women and three children were abducted by suspected Kuki militants from Borobekara area in Jiribam district of Manipur after an encounter with security forces. Their bodies were found in the Jiri river in Jiribam district and in the nearby Barak river in Cachar, Assam.

Heartbreaking information has come to light in this report. Authorities cited the post-mortem report conducted at Assam’s Silchar Medical College Hospital (SMCH) that said the 10-month-old boy, Laishram Lamganaba, was shot in the left knee joint. In addition to this, he was also missing both eyes. Apart from this, many wound marks were found on his body.

The bodies of the deceased were brought to Silchar Medical College and Hospital on November 17 and the estimated time of their death was reportedly 3 to 5 days earlier.

The corpses began to rot even before reaching the morgue.

Authorities said his body was in a state of decomposition when it was taken to the morgue on November 17. Additionally, an 8-year-old girl named Telen Thjanganbi suffered serious injuries from bullets. Lamanganba’s aunt, Telem Thoibi, 31, was shot three times in the chest and once in the stomach. There was a strong attack on his head. Because of which the bones of his skull were broken.

They find an eye missing from a corpse

The earlier post mortem report of three other family members was also alarming. Chingkhenganba Singh, 3, L Hetonbi Devi, 25, and Y Rani Devi, 60, were shot. Chingkhenganba was missing his right eye. He had a gunshot wound to the head, his arms and many other body parts were cut off. Marks of fractures and wounds were also found on the chest.

Hetonbi Devi was shot three times in the chest and once in the hip. The boy’s grandmother and Rani Devi were shot five times. One bullet was in the skull, two in the chest, one in the stomach and one in the hand. These six people, belonging to the same family and belonging to the Meitei community, had disappeared from the Jiribam relief camp on November 11 after an exchange of fire between the security forces and some people from the Kuki community. After which their bodies were recovered from the nearby river.
