Violence has escalated in Islamabad amid ongoing political instability in Pakistan. Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) advisor Abdul Qadir Khan reportedly died after being shot. He was shot last night. People injured during the violent clashes in the capital’s Blue Zone were admitted to hospital. There is currently an atmosphere of violence throughout Pakistan.

PTI Chairman Barrister Gohar Khan, during a post on social media platform X, expressed grief over the death of Abdul Qadir and held the government responsible for the violence. At the same time, Pakistan’s Information Minister Ata Tarar criticized Bushra Bibi and accused her of inciting violence. Bushra Bibi, wife of Imran Khan, continually calls on her followers to continue protesting against the government.

Security forces deployed at D-Chowk

From D-Chowk in Islamabad to China Chowk on Jinnah Avenue, law enforcement agencies (LEAs) have taken control of the situation. Bushra Bibi’s convoy has been pushed onto Seventh Avenue. Due to fear of violence in major markets and places in the city, the LEAs have closed F-6 Supermarket, F-7 Jinnah Supermarket and F-10, F-11, G-6, G-7 and G-8. The centers have been ordered to close during the day.

The violence crisis deepens

The situation has gotten out of control in Islamabad, where clashes between PTI supporters and security forces continue. Tension has deepened in the city amid growing crowds of protesters and government restrictions. The administration has taken strict measures to maintain law and order, but the anger of PTI supporters does not seem to be abating.

This entire incident has further increased political instability in the country. The situation in Islamabad has become more worrying due to the death of Abdul Qadir Khan and the closure of commercial establishments. At the same time, harsh rhetoric between Bushra Bibi and the government further incited violence.
