Vodafone Idea has once again given a big shock to millions of its users. The telco has reduced the data benefits available on its cheap recharge. Now users will get less data than before. The company has changed the benefits available in its Rs 23 plan. In this Vodafone-Idea plan, users previously received 1.2GB of daily data, an amount that has now been reduced.
Reduced data for cheap plans
This Rs 23 prepaid data pack from Vodafone-Idea is for those users who need emergency data. The company has many more such data packages, which provide the benefit of higher validity. Vodafone Idea launched this prepaid data pack in November last year. Despite the mobile rate increase in July, the company did not make any changes to this plan. Vodafone Idea users are continuously decreasing. Due to lack of funds, the company has not yet been able to launch 5G service.
Now Vodafone-Idea has not increased the price of this plan, but has also reduced the data available on it. Now users will get just 1GB data in this cheap recharge plan with 1 day validity. The company has started offering 200 MB less data in this plan. However, this will not make much difference to users. If users want, they can get 1.5 GB data with a validity of 1 day by spending Rs 3 more.
Cheap data packs from Jio and Airtel
Jio and Airtel offer 10GB high-speed data to their users for Rs 11. However, the validity of the recharge plans of these two companies is only 1 hour. Small telco top-ups are specially designed for consumers with high mobile data usage. Jio launched its cheap recharge plan yesterday i.e. on 3rd November.
