On November 25, he made a huge donation to four foundations run by the Buffett family. According to the report, he has donated Berkshire Hathaway shares worth more than $1.1 billion or around Rs 10,000 crore. On the last day of trading, the price of one share had closed at $478.56 (about Rs 40,372).
Along with this huge donation, Warren Buffet also wrote a note to the company’s shareholders, in which he made a big revelation about inheriting billions of wealth after his death and openly expressed his views on life and death. While speaking to shareholders, he announced that 1,600 Class A shares of Berkshire Hathaway will be converted into 24 lakh Class B shares and distributed among the four family foundations.

He said the shares will be given to the Susan Thompson Buffett Foundation, named after his late wife Susie (1,500,000 shares), while the shares will be given accordingly to his children’s foundations.
