It is the administration’s responsibility to stop it. The surprising thing is that hundreds of wells have been installed in the city without authorization. To which neither the administration nor the people pay attention. On the other hand, the condition of the Municipal Council officials is such that if they stop the work of a well, they restart it a few minutes later. The drilling was being carried out in the parking lot of a business project located on the Chandigarh Ambala Expressway. After whose complaint the City Council team had paralyzed the works but they resumed.
Apart from this, two boreholes are also being carried out on VIP Road and one in the parking lot next to the business project opposite the Grand Bazaar. The council team has failed to stop this. The problem is that these people build wells in the parking lot for their own benefit. Considering that your permission cannot be obtained under any circumstances. But despite this, indiscriminate drilling is carried out in the city and water is wasted on a large scale. At the same time, city officials do not know who will come to stop this work. They are blaming each other. The surprising thing is that when the city council stopped the works on Monday, the works resumed within half an hour and officials said that tomorrow they will stop again. Until then the work on the well will be completed. Because this well has been running for the last four days.
