What is the ’26/11 attack’?
We tell you that 10 Lashkar-e-Taiba terrorists from Pakistan arrived by sea on November 26, 2008 and during the 60-hour siege in Mumbai they opened fire and killed 166 people. A total of 18 security personnel were killed in this incident and many others were injured. However, security forces later killed nine terrorists, while one terrorist was captured alive. Attacker Ajmal Kasab was hanged in November 2012.
