Aam Aadmi Party candidate and party councilor Mahesh Khigi has been elected mayor in the Delhi Municipal Corporation elections. AAP councilor Khedi from Karol Bagh’s Dev Nagar ward won the election by defeating BJP’s Kishan Lal (Shakurpur ward). He defeated the BJP candidate by just three votes. The celebration has begun in the Aam Aadmi Party with the victory of Mahesh Kheri. Aam Aadmi Party leaders have expressed joy over their victory.

Mahesh first joined the Aam Aadmi Party and is then the responsibility of the district president. Taking into account his political experience, the party had also entrusted him with the responsibility of the electoral campaign in many federal states.
