AAP candidate Mahesh got 133 votes, while BJP candidate got 130 votes. The BJP gave a tough fight to the AAP in the mayoral elections. The BJP lost by just three votes.

Interestingly, the BJP got only 120 votes. Despite this, the BJP got 10 more votes. This means that some Aam Aadmi Party councilors voted against it in favor of the BJP. According to the information, in numerical terms, the Aam Aadmi Party got 142 votes, which included three Rajya Sabha MPs, 13 MLAs and 126 councillors. While the BJP has 122 votes with the support of seven Lok Sabha MPs and 114 councillors.
