Jalaún: There was a stir in Manpur village near Sirsakala police station when the husband killed his wife by hitting her on the neck with an axe. The husband was fed up with his wife’s habits, who always threatened to run away from home and marry someone else. Frustrated by this, the husband lost his temper and committed this murder. The local police reached the spot, took possession of the body and sent it for autopsy after completing the Panchnama. At the scene of the incident, the husband confessed his crime to the police and further steps are being taken to arrest him and take him into custody.
There were doubts about the wife’s character.
The incident took place in Manpur village in Sirsakala police station area, 50 kilometers from Orai headquarters, where the husband, suspicious of the woman’s character, killed his wife with an axe. Amar Singh Yadav, 33, a resident of Manpur, son of Pitam Singh, killed his 30-year-old Kushma Devi by hitting her neck with an ax at 9 am. When the police station reached the spot and questioned Amar Singh, Amar Singh confessed to his crime and said that his wife was of low character and had also married two people in the court.

The husband said that she even threatened many times to run away from home, so he got fed up and killed his wife. The mother of the deceased said that she has 6 daughters and lives in Manpur with her daughter Kushma. The deceased Kushma has two children, a 7-year-old boy and a 3-year-old girl. Additional Superintendent of Police and CO Jalaun and Station House Commissioner Brajesh Bahadur Singh reached the incident spot, arrested the accused and sent the body for post-mortem.
