New Delhi: In the capital Delhi, after a fight with her husband, a woman cut off his private parts and ran away. The husband is receiving treatment in the hospital. The police are now busy searching for the accused woman. According to information, the victim is a resident of Madhubani, Bihar. He had moved to Delhi with his wife only four or five months ago. The victim alleged that his wife cut off his genitals after a fight between them.
Victim admitted to Safdarjung Hospital
A police officer said the victim was admitted to Safdarjung Hospital, where his condition is said to be out of danger. Police said the accused woman is absconding and efforts are on to arrest her.
Quarrel between husband and wife on Diwali night
According to police, at 2:34 am on the night of October 31 to November 1, Roop Nagar police station received information that a woman had cut her husband’s private parts with a knife and fled. Following this information, the police reached the spot and admitted the victim, a resident of Chandrawal, to Bada Hindu Rao Hospital in an injured condition. After first aid here, he was referred to Safdarjung Hospital for further treatment. At that time the victim was not in a position to give a statement. Therefore, on the basis of DD and MLC entry, a case under Section 118(1) was registered at BNS Roop Nagar Police Station and investigation was initiated.
Drunk husband attacked
Today, November 2, the statement of victim Vishnu was recorded. In his statement, the victim Vishnu said that he resides in Madhubani, Bihar. And he moved to Delhi with his wife 4-5 months ago. He works as an assistant in a PG in Shakti Nagar. On the night of October 31, he was drunk and quarreled with his wife over some issue. After the fight his wife left the house and he went to sleep. After some time, his wife entered the house and attacked his private parts with some sharp object. After this incident, his wife ran away. The police are looking for him.
