The participation of working women increased

According to the Ministry of Statistics report, the female labor force participation rate (FLFPR) in rural areas has increased by 23 per cent, from 24.6 per cent in 2017-18 to 47.6 per cent in 2023- 24. The unemployment rate decreased
Women in the country have started to become self-reliant, due to which the unemployment rate has decreased from 5.6 per cent in 2017-18 to 3.2 per cent in 2023-24. While female labor force participation (LFPR) has increased from 23.3 percent to 41.7 percent. The female working population proportion (WPR) has increased from 22 percent to 40.3 percent.
Women also took steps in education
In 2017-18, 34.5 per cent of women were postgraduates. Which has increased to 39.6 percent in 2023-24. Similarly, the number of students dropping out of upper secondary education increased by 12.5 percent and the number of women receiving primary education increased by 25.3 percent.
