Yavatmal Election Result 2024
The election from Yavatmal, one of the 288 assembly seats in Maharashtra, has become a prestige issue for the state’s two main alliances, Mahayuti and Mahavikas Aghadi. Voting for this seat took place on November 20 and the vote count will take place shortly after today. Only with the trends will it be clear who will win this seat.
The Yavatmal assembly headquarters is the headquarters of the Yavatmal district headquarters. The choice of this assembly venue, famous for celebrating the Navratri festival in a unique way, has been quite interesting.
2019 election results
Like the elections held in the year 2019, this time too there was a close contest between BJP’s Madan Madhukarrao Yeravar and Congress candidate Anil Mangulkar. In 2019 elections, Madan Madhukarrao Yerawar won the elections with 80425 votes. Anil Mangulkar of the Congress, despite having fought very close, was limited to 78,172 votes.
In this election, Santosh Marotrao Dhawale had tried to create a triangular fight on the IND ticket, but after securing 38,345 votes, he was out of the race.
Similarly, in 2014 elections too, Madan Madhukarrao Yeravar managed to raise the saffron here by getting 53671 votes. While despite giving a close contest, Santosh Marotrao Dhawale of SHS lost the election by securing 52444 votes. As per 2011 census, the total population of Yavatmal is 116551. There are 58,549 males and 58,002 females.
If we look at the results of the previous elections, it is clear that caste mathematics does not matter much in this seat. The important thing is that voters here never keep any party or candidate in their favor.
