Kannauj: A funny video is coming out from Kannauj district in Uttar Pradesh. Here a young man was in prison for several months. Then when he was released, he walked out the door and danced vigorously and expressed his happiness. According to the information, the young prisoner could not pay his fine for several months so he could not be released. Seeing the young people’s dance, the police officers who were at the door also applauded to encourage the young people.

“There was no one to defend”

Actually, the young prisoner’s name is Shiva Nagar, he was lodged in Kannauj jail for 9 months. The police had sent him to prison in a case of narcotic powder. While hearing the case, the court sentenced Shiva to one year in prison and a fine of Rs 1,000. Let us tell you that Shiva is an orphan and lives in Kansiram colony of Chhibramau. Since he was an orphan, there was no one who could defend him. Later, on the occasion of Constitution Day, thanks to the efforts of the District Legal Services Authority, he and another prisoner were released. With the help of the District Legal Services Authority and some efforts from the voluntary organization, his fine was deposited, after which he was released.

Nobody even collected the other prisoner’s bail.

While, in the second case, the prisoner Anshu Gihar, whose bail was granted a month ago, but no one came to claim it. Therefore he could not be released either. Later, the authority, citing orders from the Supreme Court, secured the release of the detainee from the court. Please note that Anshu resides in Gihar, Fatehpur.
