A two-day district-level youth festival began on Monday in Sector-14 of Government Girls College under the cooperation and guidance of the district administration on behalf of the Haryana Industrial Training and Skill Development Department. ADC Hitesh Kumar Meena, as the chief guest, inaugurated the program by lighting the lamp. The Nodal Officer of the event and SDM of Gurugram Ravindra Kumar was also present on this occasion.
The Nehru Yuva Kendra Organization and the National Service Scheme also had a special contribution in organizing the programme. Addressing the inaugural session of the two-day youth festival, ADC Hitesh Kumar Meena said that when youth are filled with high ideals, sense of purpose and vast knowledge, they become an unstoppable force in driving the development of the country. As India today stands at a turning point in its history under the visionary, strong and efficient leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the youth has an important role to play.
He said that the 21st century will be India’s century because the country’s youth are confident in their abilities and are moving rapidly towards the future. Regarding the Youth Festival, he said that such events help students bring out their hidden talents in life. ADC said that young people should set a goal and prepare themselves with hard work, they will definitely get success. If you follow your goals, you can never fail in life.

The winning teams of all disciplines at the district level will participate in the youth festival at the state level. On this occasion, ITI Gurugram Principal Jaideep Kadian, Government Girls College Principal Dr Jitendra Malik, ITI Women Gurugram Principal Jagminder, ITI Principal Sohna Sonia Takshak and other dignitaries were present.
