The problems of Chinmoy Krishna Das Brahmachari, a voice opposing the growing violence against Hindus in Bangladesh, have increased. A treason case has been registered against Chinmay in Bangladesh. Since the anti-government protests, Chinmay had been raising his voice against the safety of Hindus and violence. Therefore, he had also organized demonstrations in different areas of the country.
This action against him was taken in protest against a demonstration held in Chittagong, in which thousands of Hindus from Chittagong division had gathered at the call of Chinmoy Krishna Das Brahmachari. Chinmay is accused of showing contempt for the country’s sovereignty during this demonstration and disrespecting the national flag of Bangladesh in a planned manner to deny the integrity of the country.

If the flag of a religion is raised then it is accused of treason
According to the copy of the complaint filed, the ISKCON group, in its protest, hoisted a religious flag on top of the national flag made during the anti-government student protests at New Market intersection of Kotwali police station in Chittagong. In the complaint, raising ISKCON’s religious flag in this manner is considered tantamount to denying the integrity of an independent state.
This action against Chinmay has come at a time when the High Commissioner of the UN Human Rights Agency has returned from a visit to Bangladesh and has demanded an investigation into violence against minorities.

He further said, “What is the need to protect our temples? There is no need to guard the mosque. The government has been ignoring us for many years, be careful. Do not make friends with any stranger on social networks, do not fall into the trap, many people will try to provoke you, do not fall into their trap.
