A sensational incident has come to light in Ghazipur, Uttar Pradesh. Here a wife called her husband at her parents’ house and poisoned his food. When the wife realized that if her husband died, she would be implicated in a murder case, with the help of her parents, she immediately admitted him to the hospital, where his life was saved. The victim’s name is Sudarshan Bind. Sudarshan told the police that he was married to Kalavati Bind, a resident of Dahra Kala village in Saidpur police station area, about 8 years ago. Having less education, he earns his living by working as a day laborer and lives with his parents. After marriage, they both had a daughter and a son. Sudarshan alleges that after two years of marriage, his wife started fighting.

Sudarshan said that last year, on the occasion of Rakshabandhan, the wife went to her maternal house on the pretext of tying Rakhi to her brother. During this time, he took all the jewelry, precious clothes and the child. Then after two or three days, he (Sudarshan) went to his in-laws’ house to bid farewell to his wife. When he reached his in-laws’ house, they started behaving strangely after seeing him. The wife also behaved reluctantly. During this time his in-laws asked him to stay the night. After this, Sudarshan stayed the night at his in-laws’ house.
Sudarshan alleges that when his wife brought him food in the evening, he asked her to eat with him, but his wife avoided him with the excuse of eating with her mother. After this he ate food. But shortly after eating he began to feel dizzy. After a while, foam started coming out of the mouth. He was trying to give information to his family members through the mobile phone, but his wife also snatched his mobile phone and kept it.
Sudarshan said that during this time the wife spoke to another person on her mobile phone and I did what you said. But now I feel nervous. If he dies, all our family members will be trapped. Meanwhile, Sudarshan kept insisting on going to the hospital. Upon seeing the noise, family members took him to a nearby health center. From there he was referred to Sadar Hospital. He was discharged two days later.
Questions raised about police working style
After this, he lodged a complaint regarding this incident at Nandganj Police Station. But no action was taken on her complaint. During this period, her in-laws continued to threaten to kill her. Following this, he also sent his complaint letter to the Ghazipur Superintendent of Police by mail on September 18 and 23, but when no action was taken on the matter, he felt compelled to resort to court. After that, the court ordered to register a case in this case. On the court’s order, Nandganj police named three persons and registered a case against four unknown persons under sections 147, 328 and 506.
