Many firecracker shops were destroyed in a fire in Bokaro district of Jharkhand. This incident caused commotion in the area. However, there is no news of any victims. The incident took place near Garga Bridge of Bokaro Steel City Police Station area. Five fire engines arrived at the scene to control the fire. After a lot of work, the fire was brought under control. According to information, due to the fire, a huge traffic jam occurred on both sides of the Garga bridge. After the fire, merchants started running here and there.

13-14 stores burned
Speaking about the incident, Bokaro town deputy superintendent of police Alok Ranjan said that 13 to 14 firecracker shops were burnt to ashes in the fire. While informing, he said the district administration had given temporary permission to traders to set up firecracker shops. Ranjan said the fire has been brought under control and the matter is being investigated.
BJP leader expressed discontent
About the fire incident, the traders claimed that they had suffered huge losses in this incident. He has demanded compensation from the administration for the loss. After the incident, BJP MLA from Bokaro Biranchi Narayan reached the spot and said that if the district administration and fire department had been active, such an incident would not have occurred.
