Diwali night brought happiness for some, while for others it was a challenge. Fires were reported in Delhi, Noida and Ghaziabad, which also created problems for people nearby. The Delhi Fire Services (DFS) received 78 calls of fire incidents on Thursday night. The fortunate thing is that no major incident came to light.
According to calls received by the Delhi Police, information about the fire was provided from various locations between 4 pm and 9 pm. However, none of these incidents were major, except for a fire on a bus in which two people were injured.

A passenger was said to have been traveling with firecrackers in Chhawla area of Dwarka, when the firecracker caught fire. After this, firecrackers started bursting, causing the bus to catch fire. Two people were injured in this incident. He was immediately admitted to the hospital.
Fire breaks out at a sneaker store in Ghaziabad
A massive fire broke out at a footwear shop in Gyan Khand III in Indirapuram, Ghaziabad. An apartment also caught fire in this incident.
Six fire brigade vehicles arrived at the scene and tried to extinguish the fire and, in time, the people trapped there were rescued safe and sound. It is believed that the short circuit and firecrackers were the cause of this fire, but at the time of writing the news nothing is clear.

Fire breaks out in society in Greater Noida West
A fire also broke out on the 17th floor of Supertech Ecovillage A Society in Greater Noida West, Noida. This incident took place in the Bisrakh police station area where socialites left the apartment and came down. A team of firefighters immediately rushed to the scene and began extinguishing the fire. The fire was controlled in time.
