Now there are only 20 days left for the assembly elections in Maharashtra and in such a situation the Mahayuti alliance is confused about the candidates in Mahim constituency. In this constituency, there will be a triangular contest between Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) chief Raj Thackeray’s son Amit Thackeray, Shiv Sena MLA Sada Sarvankar and Shiv Sena’s (UBT) Mahesh Sawant.
Confusion has also arisen because the BJP has announced its support for Amit Thackeray, while its ally Shiv Sena, led by Eknath Shinde, has decided to field its sitting MLA. Now both parties are firm in their decision.
Sarvankar appealed to Raj Thackeray
BJP was hoping that Eknath Shinde’s Shiv Sena would remove MLA Saravankar and give the ticket to Amit Thackeray. While BJP leaders claim that an agreement has been reached with Shinde on this issue, Shiv Sena leaders argue that if they do not field candidates, their votes may go to the Uddhav faction. As a result, Saravankar is determined to contest the elections.

He said that if late Shiv Sena chief Bal Thackeray had been alive, he would not have asked him to give up the seat to his relatives.
Sarvankar said, “50 of his (Bal Thackeray’s) relatives live in Dadar-Mahim, but he nominated a common worker like me as a candidate. He was a leader who appreciated the spirit of workers. Look at Eknath Shinde Saheb, although his son “He was a three-time MP, he was not made a minister at the Centre, but he gave this opportunity to a loyal Shiv Sainik.”
He said, “I request Raj Saheb not to do injustice to workers like me. Give me your support.” This statement by the MLA comes after Deputy Chief Minister and BJP leader Devendra Fadnavis’ statement that the BJP remains firm in its support for Raj Thackeray’s son in Mahim.

Fadnavis said, “We support Amit Thackeray. Chief Minister Eknath Shinde also has the same idea. But if there is no candidate from Shiv Sena, then his votes will go to Shiv Sena (UBT), so the vote has been given. candidate”. He also said that efforts will be made to resolve the situation.
