When AAP leaders held the central government responsible, the BJP called it an AAP stunt.
Punjab News (Aaj Samaj), Chandigarh. Since the rice procurement season began in the state, farmers are facing problems. On one hand, the state government blames the central government for not taking away rice from the mandis, while on the other hand, BJP leaders call it a failure of the state government. There has been a lot of politics on this issue for the last one month, but neither the Center nor the state government has been able to resolve the problems of the farmers.
The result is that the state’s farmers are now roaming around with hard-grown crops for five months. The direct allegation of the state government is that as part of a conspiracy, the central government did not remove the last season’s rice from the state warehouses, so the rice millers were short of stock in the current season and bought rice in smaller quantities to the market itself. Which had a direct impact on the markets and farmers had to face problems.
