Recovered drone made in China DJI Mavic 3 Classic
Amritsar News (Aaj Samaj), Amritsar: Infiltration continues from Pakistan side through drones from across the border. Due to this, Pakistani smugglers are trying to send weapons and drugs to the Indian border, which the Border Security Force and other security agencies are foiling. Similarly, foiling the attempt of Pakistani smugglers, BSF recovered a Chinese-made drone from a field adjacent to Bharopal village in Amritsar district. Security forces have also recovered 540 grams of heroin some distance from the drone.

BSF said in a press release that on October 31, based on information received from BSF Intelligence Wing, BSF troops recovered a damaged drone from a field near Dhanoe Khurd village in Amritsar district around 09:15 am. BSF troops recovered a packet of suspected heroin, weighing about 540 grams, from a field near Dhanoe Kalan village in Amritsar district around 10:20 am. BSF further said that the narcotics were wrapped in yellow adhesive tape. The recovered drone has been identified as a Chinese-made DJI Mavic 3 Classic.

On October 27, more than 105 kg of heroin were seized
With great success, the Amritsar police managed to arrest drug peddlers along with around 153 kg of narcotics. This drug recovery by Amritsar police is said to be the largest in quantity in the state. Police exposed the smuggling gang coming from across the border and arrested two smugglers. The police will present the three smugglers before the court and obtain remand in order to obtain information about their other contacts.

In this operation, the police have recovered 105 kg of heroin, 31.93 kg of caffeine anhydrous, 17 kg of DMR (dimethyldiethoxybenzyl) and a huge quantity of weapons. Additionally, two associates of international drug trafficker Navpreet Singh Nav Bhullar, Navjot Singh and Lovepreet Kumar, have also been arrested. The waterway was used to transport drugs from Pakistan. Police also recovered large rubber tubes from the tyres, indicating that they were used during smuggling through the river route.
