Why did the umpires scold Sarfaraz Khan? (CINE PC-JIO)
Sarfaraz Khan is often in the news for his batting, but he makes headlines for his antics in the first innings of the Mumbai Test. In fact, on the first day of the Mumbai Test, Sarfaraz Khan did something that the umpires had to talk to him about. He even received a warning and not only that, a complaint was also lodged with Captain Rohit Sharma. Now you must be wondering what did Sarfaraz Khan do?
Sarfaraz’s prank
Sarfaraz Khan participated in the short leg of the Mumbai Test. He was standing very close to the batsman and along with this he was seen saying something in his ear. Sarfaraz Khan was talking so much that the New Zealand batsmen started getting distracted. After this, New Zealand all-rounder Darrell Mitchell complained about him.

Rohit Sharma got angry
When Darrell Mitchell complained about Sarfaraz to the umpires, captain Rohit Sharma looked angry. He was seen saying something to Darrell Mitchell. This is not the first time that players or bouncers do not speak to the batsman, this happens regularly. But the Indian team did not like the way Mitchell complained to the umpire.
New Zealand batsmen struggle
However, it was not just Sarfaraz who troubled the New Zealand batsmen in the Mumbai Test. Washington Sundar and Ravindra Jadeja also worried the Kiwis. Sundar launched Tom Latham and Rachin Ravindra. While Jadeja trapped Will Young and Tom Blundell bowled the same over. Team India got its first success thanks to Akash Deep, who showed Conway the way to the pavilion.
