These days there is tremendous agitation in Uttar Pradesh due to the by-elections. Meanwhile, parties and their candidates are using many tactics to attract voters. A similar scene also emerged in Kanpur. Where SP candidate for by-election from Sisamau seat Naseem Solanki went to Vankhandeshwar temple on Diwali and offered prayers to Lord Shiva. But his claim has become a problem for him. Now a fatwa has been issued against Naseem Solanki regarding this matter.
In fact, SP candidate Naseem Solanki’s own community has become his enemy when it comes to worship. On Friday, November 1, All India Muslim Jamaat National President Maulana Mufti Shahabuddin Razvi Barelvi issued a fatwa on SP candidate Naseem. Giving a statement on the entire matter, he said, “The woman should repent and recite the Kalma. Since idol worship is prohibited in Islam, this step of Naseem Solanki is a sin in the eyes of the law. Therefore, you should keep this in mind from now on and recite the Kalma for atonement.”
Let us tell you that on Diwali night, SP candidate Naseem Solanki offered prayers at Vankhandeshwar temple, lit a lamp near Shivalinga and wished his victory. After this, Naseem also went to Gurudwara. Now, on one hand, he tried to win over Brahmin and Dalit voters with this step. On the other hand, the Mustakim community seems to be angry with him for this step.
